Frankicense and Myrrh Candle
“The use of frankincense and myrrh as incense in religious rites dates from antiquity. Ancient Egyptians are known to have burned frankincense and myrrh in their temples. Frankincense was used by ancient Hebrews, the Romans, and the Greeks. It is still used in some of the incenses of the Cantholic church today. Frankincense and myrrh were among the gifts presented to the Christ child by the Magi. Frankincense and Myrrh are resins obtained from the sap of certain trees that grow in East Africa and Arabia.”
