Get Organized. Be Specific. Refine Your Goals

by MJR

As days begin to shrink and the foliage begins to crisp, we have the tidiest little moon to close eclipse season with: our New Moon in Virgo. After such an intense couple months (astrologically)we love a basic moonSimple, focused, helpful.

This is a great moon for organizing your to-dos, refining your priorities, and decluttering your workspace.

Whatever was thrown into chaos these last few months, our Virgo moon is here to gift us clarity. It’s here to help us discern what to keep and what to discard, to correctly analyze our problems, and to visualize how best to take action. It lends ease in being specific about what you intend and what you want to plan for.

This is a time of collecting seeds, of separating the wheat from the chaff, and of counting our bounty of beans and boons. And once we feel grounded, this virgo moon loves for us to find ways to be at service for ourselves and others.

This moon also brings a tonal shift to our palace of stars: Venus moves into Scorpio: deepening the hues and shades we frolic in. Mercury moves into Libra: balancing our thinking and adding charm to our words. And Uranus stations retrograde: slowing down change and redirecting its power of upheaval inward.

The tension?

Venus opposite Chiron asks us to continue our work on self-worth: baggage might surface around old relationship wounds or how we relate to stuff and money. How have you been torturing yourself? And how can you shift the way you see things that will allow you some peace?

The extra sweet?

Neptune lingers in a long lasting sextile to Pluto. This is a potent period for rich spiritual grown and verdant journeys into the realms of imagination. Listen loudly, dream deeply.

And then? Allow our Virgo new moon to distill those lofty dreams into doable steps.

If You Want to Visit Mermaids, It is Important to Secure Tickets”

Tarot Pull for the New Moon in Virgo

by Tiff Inman

In order to get to where you’re going, it is imperative you make sure you have the practicalities considered.

Now is not a time to disregard the have-to-do lists. If you want to go visit mermaids on a cruise, it is important to secure tickets. Maybe look for quality and budget friendly options. I hope I’m not giving the impression of this season being one for vacations. Let me explain.

This moon is requiring, not asking, us to practice delayed gratification.

If you want to go on the trip, scaling back on take-out could help. grooooannn

I know! I don’t like it either. I’m no meteorologist but it is expensive outside.

I’m not saying you have to stop everything fun but let’s be serious about setting our future selves up for success, for the things we truly want. Let’s not chase dopamine hits that don’t last and don’t contribute to regulated nervous systems.

Right now, we are assigned the task of managing what is ours to steward. Paying the electric bill doesn’t scream glamour nor does it offer the same jolt as say, a new skein of yarn (I have a LOT of yarn!). What it does do is allow our food to not spoil and saves shins from finding every, sharp, dark corner of your home.

We can still dream and allow our current reality help us make better decisions for our good. Being able to take care of your basic needs is a flex. Creating a system to maintain your needs and a few extra awesome wants? Hey, that keeps a nervous system purring like a kitten safe under your favorite blanket.

You can do it. It might be a little difficult, but I believe we can make some small changes here and there that add up.

Remember, an ocean is nothing but a whole bunch of water droplets in one place. Just put your glass out and be patient.
