Full Moon in Libra
Let’s Find Our Balance ⚖️

Here we are friends, at the first full moon of spring: our sweet little pink moon in Libra.
This is a pleasant moon to fine tune the balance between our self and our relationships. With Aries season pushing us to take initiative in our personal dreams and projects, at times that same Aries intensity can also get us a little too into it and a little too self-focused.
This moon arrives as a gentle reminder:
harmony in our connections can also fill the cup.
If you’re feeling tired of marching only to your own rhythm, take a beat and see what your friends have been up to. This moon illuminates a new way to balance how you’ve been growing with how you show up for your cherished ones.
The tension? Jupiter in Cancer squaring this lunation may amplify or accelerate the emotional work of this moon. In the context of an important relationship, if you’ve been sweeping a little too much under the carpet, Jupiter is going to be shouting about how lumpy the carpet is.
The sweetness? Venus is finally at home in Taurus, and this brings a loveliness to our moon’s emphasis on harmony and balance. Take time to be embodied, notice the nature, and relish where there is abundance in your life. Especially the good people in it. Nurturing others can surprisingly also nurture you.
It’s a time where friendships can spring up like wild flowers.
And we so love our wild flowers.

“Get My Baby Out the Gnats”
Tarot Pull for The Full Moon in Libra
by Tiff Inman
I had a few phrases pop up in my head looking at this pull for the Full Moon in Libra.
-
“These things, it stands to reason these things won’t k*ll me”- Mike Doughty “Fully Retractable”
-
“I can’t keep checking my phone”- Unknown Mortal Orchestra “Can’t Keep Checking My Phone”
-
“Someone come get my baby out the gnats!!” -Kevin Hart’s Mom when he was caught in a cloud of gnats
We live in a world made both larger and smaller by the devices we hold in our hands. We have access to windows to very different souls and that’s an important thing to remember when navigating being a part of a society.
A lot of people just want to know what to do to solve a problem so it is solved forever. That isn’t how evolution works. Outside factors that aren’t controlled by us will affect how long and how well our “fixes” hold. It’s sisyphian even! (Please read last line as Sylvester the Cat)
So what do those three phrases have to do with this reading?
So glad you asked.
-
Having the information of potential awful does not mean the awful is actively happening now. What is in front of you? How can you prepare and add to the potential wonderful? Do that.
-
Sometimes too much is just too much. We don’t have to be actively aware of everything at once as each situation changes. You will glitch out. You are not a robot. Do something human and humane to feel like a living being.

The Strength and 9 of Cups Cards look like there are specks of dust or gnats in the background. These feel like the gnats of life that are distractions. Things meant to keep us from enjoying ourselves and the simple act of being.
It’s ok to filter out joy and enjoy that for a while.Think of it like panning for stardust. Everything in moderation.
