New Moon in Pisces, Spring Equinox

Let’s daydream our excitement, and then, begin! (again)

Tonight we have our New Moon in Pisces 🌑🎏♓️.

We like this moon. Feels gentle and dreamy, like dozing in a field of wild flowers under a partly cloudy sky. This moon is all about finding presence within your inner world: allowing your imagination expand.

Let yourself feel fuzzy, indulge in your daydreams.

Just remember as you do, this moon tends to turn up our sensitivity to the collective and like watercolors, blend everyone’s dreams together. Neptune conjunct lends this process a particular gravity and depth that may not be easy to escape.

With a cute sextile from Uranus, indeed this is a perfect time for unique inspiration and creative vision, (talkin beautiful hanged man vibes). We are extra porous right now.

Just keep in mind that what might bleed in may not all be for you or from you.Trust the universe in your discernment. Use the feeling of joy and delight to find what is.

And then, behold. The Spring Equinox! Only a hop and a skip from Wed to Fri.

What clarity of vision we gained during our new moon, let’s use to seed as intention this spring equinox. Place this kernel of purpose at this magical point in time, where light and dark are balanced in momentary harmony.

Here, Aries has arrived. The cycle begins again. Everything shifts. The days stretch, the flowers bloom, the trees and hills thicken in hues of green. Our skin glows with the contentment of late-day sunset kisses.

We feel a readiness for life again, we feel momentum, we feel radiant. Out of the depths and into lightness. A most potent time for planting and action.

Did we mention Mercury stations direct this day too? Thank the heavens.

You’re welcome, says the heavens.

Care for What Cares For You

Tarot Pull for the New Moon & Equinox

New Moon in Pisces

Work for its own sake is depleting. When we are tasked with putting effort into a desired outcome, it doesn’t come as a surprise that we would like to actually desire the outcome.

I will not put forth effort in making cashew butter because, at the end of the work, I would have cashew butter, and frankly, the stuff makes me sad.

I don’t care about the outcome because I have no vested interest. This is just an example of how our productive energies, requested or demanded by others, can become a burden.

Eventually, you’ve got a hole in your bucket dear Liza.

Now, not only are you sapped of the energy needed for the work, you’re also leaking your own personal reserves. When this happens it is hard to see a way out of the cycle.

We gotta do something else. Because at this rate we’re going to fall further into burnout and that’s what some folks want. Worn down people are easier to steer. It’s manipulative.

The cards’ advice? Give as much as you are given. Care for what cares for you.

When you have your own time, what do you like to do? What lights you up? What feels like parachute day in elementary school?

Perhaps this is a good time to meander. Lollygag.

Spring Equinox

Moving into Spring has the same feeling as leaving a cold, dark movie theatre then walking into a sunny afternoon. I feel like a mole, waiting for my eyes to adjust and figure out where the heck the car is.

This Vernal Equinox kicks off the cardinal sign of Aries and usually kicks off a flurry of things to DO!  We’ve been cooped up and saying goodbye to the last bits of the previous year.

Be cautious though. Just because things are in the process of blooming doesn’t mean you must instantaneously be ready to go forth and seize all the days every day.

Remember you’ve set plans in motion. It is necessary to see how this phase of life is unfolding before adding more to the itinerary.

First, make sure you’re checking your own temperature. How are you feeling? Do you want to be outside at a party or would you rather go birdwatching? Your passions only need to excite YOU.

Anticipating possibility and giving yourself room to explore is what Spring is all about. You are allowed to be fizzingly content soaking up the sunshine or wrapped up under your duvets.

Daydream. Cloud watch. Get inspiration from the ladybugs and bees. But take your time.
