Full Moon in Scorpio
Dwell within Depths. Wallow in the Mud. Sing with the Frogs.

Happy May Day Friends! 🌸
As we weave pretty ribbons around the Maypole and dance under the Flower Moon, it’s time to savor the polar undercurrents between Taurus & Scorpio: our token symbols of growth and decay.
This is the time where seasonal showers soak into the dirt and herald the return of the frogs. Beings that over the winter appear as corpses under the earth, only to resurrect to the surface and thicken the night sounds with chirpy new songs.
And as so, the Full Moon in Scorpio entices us to dig down deep to the rotten stuff: to what we’ve left as a corpse, resurrect it and see what it sings. After all, what best fertilizes our verdant Taurean landscape? Yep. It’s the rotten stuff.
Dark waters stir this full moon, and as the mud bubbles, allow yourself to brood. We’ll call this processing. If you need to sit by the window while it rains, with your forehead pressed up against the cold glass, do it. Do it and make a note of your thoughts. Mercury conjoin Chiron is here to help you articulate what hurts.
This is an ideal day to do some moody journaling, compose melancholic poetry, orwrite a bitter letter and never send it.
Dwell within the depths of your being. Wallow just long enough to summon the words to give those places shape. This act alone does what Scorpio asks: use what has decayed to give life to something new.
Overall, recommend gentle self-care this weekend and snuggling with the flowers. Pretend to be a frog and get cozy in the mud. When you are ready, turn it to compost. Sing a new song while you do.
The frogs will be singing with you.

“It’s All A Matter of Soul and Fire”
Tarot Pull for The Full Moon in Scorpio

“It’s all a matter of soul and fire…infatuation or true desire.” -Sebadoh
Okay, okay, okay. We are dealing with a Scorpio Full Moon. That means, for us, spelunking the Mariana Trench (which is part of the Ring of Fire.) The deeper one goes the more fuel one finds is my guess.
Taurus season encapsulates fecundity on Earth’s face, the opposing sign of Scorpio deals with the substraction these blooms.
That is a highfallutin’ way of saying the opposite of life is death and both are necessary in “the world in which we live” (Pointer Sisters “Yes We Can Can” 1973) .
This Full Moon is bringing up what needs to be examined beneath what is seen in “concrete realty”.
Must you feel there is a current moving at all times or can you sit with your deadpools? (not the dude in Lycra)
Spring is a time for shedding old skin and shimmying into the new. While this happens, life lived demands recognition of our previous incarnations.
For an oak to grow an acorn must be sown. The seed fortifies itself with the remains of lives lived before. Subterranean constructs will be tilled.
