New Moon in Taurus
Be sleepy, be slow. Take your time.

Here we are dear friends, our lovely New Moon in Taurus.
This moon is supportive, structural, and steady. Like a quiet evening in, it feels peaceful, restful, necessary. The fury and wreckage of our last two moons have now slowed and tempered.
Here we can to tap into the quiet earth, letting our hearts settle in the stillness. As spring matures, we feel it spin the world into sprawling verdant greens, making it a lush cocoon to sink into.
Take this balm of rest to spoil yourself with being sleepy and slow.
Let us sink deep into the body this new moon. It’s a wonderful time to get tactile, use your hands. Repot a fussy house plant. Seed a baby herb garden. Play with the mud and clay. Shape something out of wood.
Do it in a way that feels sumptuous, earthy, grounded. Write out your budget with a fine pen and fancy paper. Do slow yoga by candlelight. Work on big plans while soaking in warm springs.
And as you move or do or rest, breathe deep into your belly. Stir the universe within. Wear rose colored glasses and paint everything vintage sunset pinks. Find that space where your body feels open and free and unburdened.
This is where you can lay down the inner groundwork to do the next hard thing: the thing that will take a wellspring of time and effort to make happen. The thing you know you must do.
Take your time with your thoughts.
Ask yourself: What do you wish to persist?
If you feel hesitation or a twinge of restlessness, say hello to our Mars conjunct Chiron visiting with this moon.
Mars: our body, our action, our drive, how we assert ourselves in the world. Chiron: our wounds. When these meet, a way in which we’ve struggled to assert ourselves may come up. An old ache in the body. A lingering insecurity. Repetitive doubt in our abilities.
Utilize that energy to refocus on your foundations. Where are the cracks that are calling your attention?
Here is your chance to grow still and steady your step. Patch the cracks. Pull the thorn. Remove the pebble from your shoe. Savor the relief.
How long has that pain shaped the way you’ve been moving?

“I Think We Could All Use A Nap”
Tarot Pull for The New Moon in Taurus
by Tiff Inman

I hear songs sometimes when I pull a tarot reading. Some of them are favorites, others come from a place where earworms reside. (A tune that just kinda lives in your head for as long as it wants to live there.)
Christina Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle” states:
My mind is saying no
But my body’s saying let’s go
I’m hearing this quote as more of an internal dialogueas opposed to setting boundaries with a potential love interest.
Aries season was very, very, very busy.Responsibilities seemed to compound with the continuing evolution of unprecedented times.Once in a lifetime events popped up that were enjoyable, pleasurable even.
Everything bundled together, you have a lot of energetically taxing life going on. As much fun and excitement Spring has sprung, I think we could all use a nap. This “work hard, play HARD” nonsense is for the birds.
Don’t upset your balance by taking on too much just to say you were outside. Nurture where you are with your energy levels by being your own trusted adult.
Maybe you could take time to allow yourself to put aside the “have to-dos” and be childlike.
Make a picnic. Take a walk to find flowers because you can. Check out places you’ve always wanted to go but felt for some reason it was silly or unnecessary. Wear your favorite shoes because for some reason they just make you feel taller.
Remember that we aren’t only our minds, we are also physical beings that can enjoy bursts of whimsy just because…
