Full Moon in Sagittarius

Redeem Your Optimism

Here we are friends, our buoyant Blue Moon in Sagittarius

Brimming with desire for expansion and adventure, this moon is playful and optimistic. Imagine open skies over wild prairies of bobbing flowers and gently rolling grasses. The wind at your back, the sun humming on your cheeks, the beat of freedom in your chest.

It says come, redeem your hope in the world.

As spring matures into summer, Taurean efforts in backyard gardens are beginning to bud rewards: succulent strawberries, crispy cucumbers, robust stalks of basil. Now, while we wait for the plants to grow, we have time to think and time to check in with our friends.

Gemini season invites us to turn from body to mind, from home to our network. Scattering out like butterflies and bunnies, we begin our social season ready for fresh connections, buzzy conversations, new interests and new ideas.

As the moon moves into the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, we find it a complimentary one.

Gemini inspires us to be curious, talk to everyone about everything, absorb all the details. The Full Moon in Sagittarius gives us pause enough to distill Gemini’s love for data down into understanding, and then into wisdom.

The opportunity here is to take what we are learning and use it to redefine personal meaning, revealing more about what we really believe.

Strengthened by Saturn (sextile the sun, trine the moon), and with Uranus in the wings (nearby the sun in Gemini), there is a unique depth to this moment where we are quite actively updating our personal philosophies and rewriting our personal truths.

We say, get whimsical this moon. Cosplay as the wandering fool. Set out on a spontaneous adventure.Allow your new truths to find you in a state of play and wonder.

There is no better moon to set up a time to explore, to seek new experiences, to roam aimlessly through wild prairies of bobbing flowers. Laugh with the cicadas. Dance with the fireflies.

Additional loveliness this transitcoming from Uranus sextile Neptune, Neptune sextile to Pluto. Think powerful even fantasticaldreams and ideas, strange and weird but deeply inspiring.

Big potential for big awakening. Big shifts for everyone.

The shadow? We had a rough week astrologically with Mars square Pluto (Let’s blow it all up!), and Venus Square Saturn (So are we breaking up or what?), and while that energy is waning, it is still rippling in the water.

The extra extra ~cherry on top~ loveliness?

On June 9th we have a spectacular once every 12 year Jupiter and Venus conjunction in their exalted sign of Cancer.

Oh the joy! The radiance! The delight! An auspicious time for rituals of home blessings, manifestation work, and expansion of our abundance mindset.

So, relish this moon. Rediscover the small joys of existence. Blow dandelion seeds into the air. Good things are coming.

Breath freely friend.

“Try To Travel A Little Lighter”

Tarot Pull for The Full Moon in Sagittarius

by Tiff Inman

Blue moons are a fairly rare phenomena.

They don’t happen once every other month or even every other year. I would take this time to accept the opportunity this illumination brings.

What is it bringing? The ruckus?Perhaps.

Sagittarius enjoys movement, learning, and launching ideas. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sagittarians also enjoyed launching themselves out of cannons. They are constantly in pursuit of understanding.

The sun is currently in Gemini and the reflection of that light on the moon in Sagittarius tells us:

we will be traversing new terrain.

Our cards today help to describe the trip we’re about to go on, whether it’s within the mind or changing our environments.

Before we decide to go somewhere we take inventory of what we will need to pack. Toothbrush? Yes! That argument replay with the coworker that never listens to you? No.

Your experiences have taught you the best way to remove yourself from untenable situations.

You are the best arbiter of your itinerary.

You’ve learned through trial and error what boundaries are assets and what others are outmoded designations.

This is meticulous, detailed work you’ve been doing. It is a craft that took patience and time to hone. There is no short cut to Carnegie Hall.

There is no shortcut in creating the map of your life because it must be experienced in order to be understood. It may not be as important to know where you’re going. Instead, perhaps the strength is knowing that regardless of what may happen on your way, you have the skills and wisdom to arrive eventually.

Try to travel a little lighter.

It’s ok to pare down what doesn’t fit in the suitcase.
